EU Intellectual Property Protection Package
EU Intellectual Property — Trade Mark, Design and Patent Package with FTO Analysis
Your Turkish registration is not valid in Europe. We rebuild your portfolio around your target markets and assess your freedom to operate against third-party rights.
Promise
We rebuild your portfolio around your target markets, prioritise the assets left unprotected and assess your freedom to operate against third-party rights.
What is it?
This service has three layers: verifying the existing portfolio against the official registers, identifying the gaps in target markets, and analysing freedom to operate against third-party rights.
The choice of filing route is a cost decision: national filings are advantageous in a small number of countries, regional or international systems in a larger number. The choice follows the number of target markets and the commercial plan.
Why is it necessary?
Your Turkish registration is not valid in Europe. The sentence looks simple, but every year a number of Turkish companies find themselves unable to enter Europe under their own brand for precisely this reason.
The possibility that your distributor has registered your mark in its own name remains a risk for as long as it goes unchecked. The absence of a registration prohibition clause in distribution agreements is a common gap.
What do we promise?
- We verify your portfolio against the official registers and identify abandoned or untransferred records
- We build the target market × asset matrix and rank the gaps by priority score
- We carry out a freedom-to-operate search and produce three options for each high-risk item
- We select the filing route on a cost-benefit basis and provide a three-year cost table
- We set up the watch and renewal system and put the immovable dates in the calendar
Who is it for?
Any manufacturer aiming to grow in the EU; particularly companies where a new solution has emerged during compliance or design work, and those about to establish a distributor relationship.
How do we work?
- 1Portfolio inventory and register verification
- 2Gap analysis and priority scoring
- 3Freedom-to-operate search
- 4Filing strategy, cost table and timetable
- 5Conducting the filings
- 6Setting up watch and renewal
Our limits
A freedom-to-operate assessment is an opinion and does not provide absolute assurance. Official registration fees and, where required, foreign associate fees are not included in the service fee.
